Abilene Zoo

We have been wanting to take Max to the zoo and the weather has been nice so we drove to Abilene. We don't have a zoo around here. We had a great time. Max loved it.

When you buy your tickets you can also buy a package of special rye crackers that you can feed to the animals. The bear loved these crackers and would stick his paw out to pull them in.

The giraffe loved them too. You go up on this bridge so you are near their heads.

And this was the adventure on the way home...we got a flat!
